CB-17-01
CB-17-01 is a novel application of Methylene Blue MMx, a coloring agent that is used to stain the mucosa to discover pre-cancerous lesions and polyps in the colon.
The objective is to deliver Methylene Blue MMx along the length of the entire colon via the MMX® technology thus enabling endoscopists to detect pre-cancerous and cancerous lesions and polyps throughout the entire colon.
The Company started 2 Phase II trials in February 2012. The first trial is for patients undergoing routing colonoscopy, the second trial is for patients that have had inflammatory bowel disease for 8 years and more. The results of these trials are scheduled to be presented at the DDW in San Diego in May 2012.
